Privacy Notice

1. Who we are

FaithPrompt.ai is operated by Scott Kline, an individual sole proprietor trading as FaithPrompt.ai ("we", "us", "our"). We act as the data controller for personal data we collect through this website and the FaithPrompt.ai Library. For payment-related data, our payment provider Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record and is an independent controller for that data.

2. What data we collect

  • Order & delivery data: your email address, order ID, purchase amount, currency, and download token. We store this so we can deliver the Library and re-send your download link on request.
  • Email & deliverability data: send logs (which emails were sent to which address and their delivery status), unsubscribe tokens, and suppression records (bounces, complaints, unsubscribes).
  • Support correspondence: the contents of any email you send us at mail@faithprompt.ai.
  • Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser/user-agent, timestamps) generated when you use the site, used for security and abuse prevention.

Payment card details, billing address, and tax information are collected and processed directly by Paddle at checkout. We do not see or store your payment card information.

3. Why we use your data and the legal basis

  • To deliver the Library you bought — emailing you the download link and honoring re-download requests. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
  • To provide customer support — responding to your emails. Legal basis: performance of a contract / legitimate interests.
  • To keep the service secure — preventing fraud, abuse, and misuse of download links. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
  • To comply with legal obligations — including tax and accounting records (held by Paddle as Merchant of Record). Legal basis: legal obligation.

We do not send marketing emails to buyers without separate consent. All emails you receive from us are transactional (order delivery and support).

4. Who we share data with

  • Paddle.com Market Limited — our Merchant of Record, who processes the sale, payment, tax, invoicing, refunds, and subscription management. See Paddle's Privacy Policy.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers — Lovable Cloud (which provides our database, file storage, and email sending infrastructure) and underlying cloud hosts.
  • Email delivery — our transactional email sender used to deliver your download link.
  • Professional advisers — accountants and legal advisers where strictly necessary.
  • Authorities — where required by law or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers (including Paddle and our hosting providers) may process data outside your country of residence. Where such transfers occur from the UK or EEA, they are protected by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

6. How long we keep data

  • Order records: kept for as long as needed to support re-downloads and to meet tax/accounting obligations (typically 6–7 years).
  • Download tokens: expire 7 days after issue.
  • Email send logs & suppression records: kept for as long as needed to manage deliverability and to honor your unsubscribe choice.
  • Support correspondence: kept for up to 3 years after the last contact, then deleted.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Have inaccurate data corrected.
  • Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Receive a portable copy of your data.
  • Withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent).
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email mail@faithprompt.ai. We will respond within one month.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), restricted access to our database and file storage, short-lived signed download URLs, and reputable infrastructure providers. No system is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data and respond quickly to any incidents.

9. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required to operate the site and process your purchase via Paddle's checkout. We do not currently use analytics or marketing cookies. If this changes, we will update this notice and surface a cookie preference control where required.

10. Children

The Service is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

11. Changes to this notice

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
